I saw Hipsterectomy for the first time on Wednesday at Dirty Dog. Umm wow. Those guys were insane. Not only was the music badass, but they were crazy on stage. I feel like stage presence can make or break the energy of a show and they definitely didn't disappoint in that regard. From the first note of the first song all the way to the end of the show they were pretty much jumping and running around the stage. I don't think they stopped moving the entire time. Their songs were loud and fast, blending aspects of hardcore punk and metal. No one instrument seemed to overpower the others and everything came together to produce some original, awesome music. So not only were they very entertaining to watch, but the music was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I'll be catching these guys again soon!
